Price Data from Multiple Vendor Platforms

The Rtt.Multi software toolkit utilises Microsoft's Active Template Library (ATL) technology to offer a multi-threaded environment providing access to multiple data vendors, including Reuters' Tib, Triarch and Bloomberg.

RTT has always provided robust, high performance and hassle free access to Market Data.  Rtt.Multi builds on these proven strengths whilst adding:

  • a common interface to all the major data vendors
  • improved performance via the use of threads
  • support for all the COM threading models
  • special support for C++ developers
  • even better MS-Excel performance via our new 'Ticker Update' model

Leslie Spiro, Managing Director:
“Intelligent use of threads is a key factor in providing high performance and responsive operation on NT.  Rtt.Multi makes extensive use of background threads to move all market data access away from the user's code, allowing applications to undertake lengthy operations in response to market data events, without worrying about dropping the market data connection.  Rtt.Multi also allows clients to run in multiple threads and can therefore be used directly from ASP pages on IIS or within a web browser.  C++ clients can operate directly with the worker threads further improving performance.”
